From an early age, she connected her emotions with creative writing, particularly in the realm of poetry. With the publication of her first two poetry books, Mel's decided to expand her creativity by creating apparel people can resonating with.
As a proud U.S. Army Veteran she has successfully balanced multiple jobs while pursuing her academic aspirations. She has earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Organizational Management. Currently, Mel operates M2 Ascension while working as a full-time Technical Product Manager.

Sony is a retired Coalition Working Dog who was adopted by M2 at 4 years old. Sony served in Afghanistan for 2 years before being medically retired. Since joining the family, Sony has enjoyed life in retirement with unlimited bouncy balls and treats. She has been a valued member of our team and conducts package control for all outgoing orders.
